On the shores of Appletree Cove, known as the “Little City by the Sea”, the marina adjoins this charming waterfront community at the gateway to the Kitsap Peninsula and Olympic National Park. This busy port of entry offers vehicle and foot ferry service to Edmonds and Seattle.
Explore the downtown district and enjoy the cozy cafes, bakeries, unique retail, and appetizing restaurants. Enjoy farm-to-table cuisine, craft beer, and local wines. Kingston’s shops and restaurants as well as the Kingston Public Market are popular with both locals and boaters.

Arrival is any time after 1:00 PM
5:00 PM – Happy Hour on the dock, bring your favorite drink
6:30 PM – Pizza from Sourdough Willy’s at the Tent
Thursday, Aug 28
Breakfast on your own – several choices
- Over the Moon Coffee Roasters (close)
- Borrowed Kitchen Bakery, for the energetic (15 min walk)
- Cup and Muffin, also energetic walk (13 min)
- Aviator, at the top of the ramp and bring it back to the boat
J’aime Les Crêpes Crêperie
Suggested activity – Shopping in Edmonds. Take the 9:35, 10:20 or 11:05 ferry.
$10.25 (or 5.10 for seniors) to return.
5:00 PM – Happy hour on the dock, bring an appetizer to share
6:30 PM – Dinner is served, prepared by Tom and Sandy.

for dessert.

DOGS and other PETS - GHYC Board Ratified: 2023-11-15
It is of utmost importance to GHYC, that we maintain fun and safe environments for members and/or pets on Club cruises and other Club event locations.
Dogs and/or other pets are permitted on cruises and other events unless otherwise noted in event documentation or venue rules.
Where pets are permitted:
- When on the dock(s) or in an event area they shall remain on a leash no more than 4 feet in length and under the direct control of the member owner.
- Members are responsible for picking up after their pet(s) and disposal of pet waste into proper containers.
- Any damage caused by an animal will be the direct responsibility of the owner.
- If a pet has a history of aggression toward other pets and/or people, that pet shall be physically restrained when not on the owner’s boat or other secure area.
- Owners are responsible to keep their pets under noise control at all times. Excessive barking or other distracting pet noise will not be tolerated especially when the pet is left alone on the owner’s vessel, car or other area.
- Pet owners will also adhere to any pet rules/restrictions posted at a marina or other event site.

Registration cancellations will be accepted until Friday, August 15, 2025 at 11:30 PM
Cancellation Policy:
Any cancellations after 5 days prior to the event will be charged the entire cost of the event up to and including the first nights moorage.
